ENVIRONMENTAL GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Professional Experience
Megan brings a fresh perspective and nearly ten years of experience to ArtHouse. She is constantly honing her environmental graphic design expertise and throughout her career has participated in environmental design projects through each phase of the process. She is an adept designer and has a wealth of experience bringing those concepts to fruition; successfully moving projects through city coding and fabrication. Her designs have been showcased in Denver, New York and Italy, with upcoming projects in Cairo and Abu Dhabi. Megan brings vim, vigor and a knowledge base that spans the wayfinding, programming and marketing spheres.

Megan attended Colorado State University, as well as the Santa Chiara fine art study center in Italy. She graduated from the Honors program Magna Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and a minor in Business Administration/Entrepreneurship.

My room in the ArtHouse
Megan is responsible for executing the client’s vision and feedback into thoughtful designs; from the conceptual phase all of the way through fabrication management. In addition to working tirelessly on concepts and design development, Megan supports the team in all aspects of a project as a reliable point of contact between the client, fabricators & vendors. Megan is also our marketing maven, and is responsible for scheduled postcard publications and website and blog maintenance. She is experienced in search engine optimization and website planning and programming, and is our social media go-to gal.

Outside the house
Megan grew up in Fort Collins, Colorado, working as a professional portrait artist in high school. She then studied abroad in Italy, fell in love with architecture, design and typography along the way and found environmental graphic design to be a match made in heaven. She loves yoga, biking, and wake surfing and once ate two Chipotle burritos in half an hour on a dare. She can't stand rude people, or intentional misspellings like EZ, Kwik and cheezy. And really, who can blame her?
