Kristin Cypher
COMMUNITY COORDINATOR
Professional Experience
In both her professional and educational experience, Kristin has had the opportunity to research, design and manage an interesting mix of public and private land planning projects. As both a planner and a landscape architect, Kristin’s experience includes fieldwork documentation, public outreach, graphic design, planning and preliminary design development. A researcher at heart, Kristin continually drives into the theoretical and philosophical underpinnings of her work, methodologies and best practices.
Kristin holds a Bachelor of Science in Geo/Environmental Planning from Pennsylvania’s Shippensburg University. In addition, she received her Master of Landscape Architecture from the nationally-recognized University of Colorado Boulder campus.
My room in the ArtHouse
Working as the primary point of contact for community planning, Kristin puts to good use her talent for communication and consensus-building. She facilitates coordination between ArtHouse Design and our clients. Kristin contributes her knowledge of municipal development as the primary spokesperson at community planning presentations.
Outside the house
Talk about getting along well with others! Kristin lives in a co housing community where consensus building is key. She loves art, vintage clothing and her delightful son and wonderful husband. She has a great laugh and is one of the most accessible, thoughtful, friendly people we have the pleasure to know. She is absolutely passionate about people’s interaction with their landscape. |
