Professional Experience
Kristi has worked in this market for more than 25 years and has written for more local, regional and national projects than she can possibly list. Her tenure includes being the associate creative director and senior writer for a large (100+ person) agency, owning her own agency for nearly a decade, and forming a company that brings together creative gurus to work specifically on marketing for large non profits. She loves combining smart, unexpected, creative writing with very strategic thinking and thrives on finding ways to use messaging to give great design and good brands deeper meaning. She is most proud of the strong relationships she creates with clients – some spanning 20 years – and her ability to get to know their business inside and out to provide creative that is truly from the heart. Kristi has years of experience in all forms of writing and creative direction including print, collateral, television, radio, video, web and long-form articles for magazines, blogs and newspapers.

Kristi graduated with honors from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, as well as a minor in Marketing.

My room in the ArtHouse
Kristi pairs her words with the beautiful design that comes out of ArtHouse and works to make each part of the equation stronger. She is a strategic thinker who joins the table to help brainstorm marketing plans, tactics, budget considerations and grass roots/social media ideas that will help meet specific client needs.

Outside the house
Kristi has two boys who now go to school in two different states. So, when she is not spending time relishing the cleanliness of an empty nest, she is often traveling to visit one or the other in their respective locales. She and her husband are deeply involved in the community and several local charities. And since her husband is an elementary school teacher and high school coach, there are still plenty of “kids” in her life to keep her hip on music, fashion and all things Facebook.
